History

We love sharing our passion for History with the girls we teach. As teachers, our specialisms and areas of interest differ, but we work together to inspire interest and enthusiasm for the past as well as empathy and understanding around historical concepts. We welcome healthy discussion and debate, encouraging the girls to be independent learners and to write the cogent and coherent answers required at GCSE and A-level. Our exam results are consistently outstanding and we continue to cultivate strong links with the universities of Bristol, Southampton and Reading. Beyond the classroom we organise trips to London, the First World War Battlefields and Paris.
